Bob's Red Pill #10 - Mars Files Volume 1 and other Space Oddities
by Crypto Psi and Aidan McMahon
Full Moon tonight, perfect time for a new red pill on our solar system. We’re starting our Mars deep-dive which we’re very excited about, but let’s start a little closer to home, as we have some new Moon ramblings.
Did you hear the news? India “went” to the “Moon”. We talked about it in our latest solo episode — Glen is not convinced. But look!
Now, the Reddit-ackchyually types will quickly point out that such images are CGI “representations” of the real Indian moon landing. Ok, this brings up an interesting discussion regarding space stuff. Why are the most horribly fake photos used in every media blast surround this topic, without some kind of clear disclaimer that they aren’t real? Why is the New York Times trying to pass this off as somehow authentic? Why are a bunch of Indian scientists in the control room taking pictures of a CGI representation of the Moon landing? Why can we supposedly land on the south pole of the Moon, but our CGI representation couldn’t pass a 1998 aesthetic escape velocity?
Saw this comment on an article on the Indian landing:
Still not a single live feed, just computers and old pictures, and people are buying this 😂
Kind of sums it up for me. Beyond faith, how are rightfully skeptical people supposed to verify the authenticity of any space program? Playing devil’s advocate, there will always be a certain percentage of hardcore space mission skeptics even if we did go, but come on! Here are the top Google image search results for “india moon landing” — do they inspire confidence?
What I can’t stand is this notion that human-led space missions are on the same level of Einstein’s theory of relativity when it comes to scientific reality. Space nerds just kind of lump rocket missions in with “science”, as if mission authenticity is completely unassailable.
Also, let’s keep in mind that we’re celebrating an unmanned landing on the Moon, in 2023, after a supposed 1969 manned Moon landing! Which brings me to my next Moon-pill. According to bedfordshirefreemasons.org (lol):
Buzz Aldrin conducted the consecration of the first Masonic Lodge on the Moon, thus securing the right to open a branch – the Grand Provincial Moon Lodge. The landing of the lunar module had been made in the sea of Tranquility, therefore the new lodge had received the name Tranquility Lodge and got the number 2000.
The astronauts did not doubt that by 2000 there would be a permanent lunar base and it would be no harder to get there than to fly from San Francisco to Boston. It would only be a transfer point on the way to Mars or the rings of Saturn. Given how many Freemasons there were in NASA’s astronaut squad, it was quite logical to open a special lodge for them.
A whole lot to unpack here. Yes, there’s apparently a Masonic lodge on the Moon, entitled Tranquility 2000, created by none other than Buzz Aldrin himself. Of course, the original astronauts would no doubt be disappointed we didn’t hit our 21st century Moon public transit target, but considering Buzz Aldrin hints we didn’t actually go to the Moon every chance he gets, perhaps he’s just trolling us with this Masonic lodge.
Onto Mars!
Mars Files Volume 1 - Mysterious Red Relative
From time immemorial, Mars has not only held humanity's gaze but also our imagination. Our rust-colored sister first frequented our ancient myths as the god of war, destruction, and grief. It was known by many names depending on the culture; to the Babylonians he was Nergal (fire, war, destruction), to the Greeks and Romans he was Ares/Mars, in Sanskrit he is known as Mangala and was a celibate war god who taught the occult sciences. Now I know that the majority of the public would just say, ‘these were just ancient peoples who didn’t have much knowledge and must've just made the association between red and war/blood, there can’t possibly be more to it’. That, of course, would be incorrect. What if I were to tell you that there is chemical evidence of a vast nuclear war fought on the surface of Mars? — and that ruins from this destroyed civilization are still visible? Mars’ history, and the history of our solar system, is much longer and weirder than most would be led to believe — and the ruins on Mars is just the beginning.
The purpose of this article is not to do a deep dive into every Mars oddity, it’s mostly to give a glimpse into the rabbit hole and let you know just what kind of stuff is waiting for you. For example, were you ever taught in school that the southern hemisphere of Mars is on average 2 miles higher than the northern? Furthermore, around 93% of the craters on Mars are also in the southern hemisphere. Could whatever helped to form them possibly be the cause of Mars’ missing atmosphere? Or could it have something to do with all the Xenon-129 that’s floating around the atmosphere?
Xenon-129 being an incredibly stable and long-lasting isotope of Xenon which is only created during the detonation of a nuclear bomb. A tool scientists use for dating our own atomic age is when the Xenon-129 levels in our atmosphere started to drastically rise after the dropping of Little Boy and Fat Man, and subsequent global nuclear testing. To quickly build on the idea of ancient nuclear devices, if you haven’t heard of the Brahmastra or Brahmashira astra before, I highly recommend looking into them.
Another on the ever growing list of Weird Mars Stuff is one of its moons, Phobos. It not only is one of the least luminous moons in the solar system, but it also is thought to be around one-third hollow, there have been multiple structures seen on its surface, and every probe sent to its surface has been destroyed or lost signal. And the last photo the Russian Phobos 2 probe sent back to Earth before losing signal was a mysterious cigar shaped object coming towards the camera! Another intriguing aspect to the martian moons is how Johnathan Swift refers to the two moons of Mars over 100 years before they were supposedly discovered by Asaph Hall. Maybe Gulliver's Travels deserves a reread with more inquisitive eyes.
When the United States first sent a probe towards our nearest neighbor to capture photos of its surface, what it sent back would forever change the way we viewed our place in the cosmos. The Viking missions, which we sent towards Mars the summer of 1975, were the first time humans were getting such an up-close and detailed view of the Martian surface. It wasn't until a number of years after NASA JPL received the images and dismissed any questionable objects seen, that a couple of engineers at the Goddard Spaceflight Center rediscovered them and published a book about their findings. The flood of interest and speculation about our red sister that followed is still ongoing to this day. What they discovered and shared with the world was The Face on Mars, located in the Cydonia region of the Northern Hemisphere. Nearby to The Face is a region known as the city, which is home to a number of other structures with not only straight, man-made angles, but also very peculiar geometric and astronomical alignments. When people began asking NASA and JPL questions as to the artificiality of these structures, do you want to guess how they responded? If you thought that they would respond with interest, openness, or any imagination, you couldn't be further from the truth. Not only did they deny any artificiality to the region, but they were also caught lying about the times, dates, and angles of photos they took, as well as actually editing the photos in question! Now at this point, the fact that there is something wacky going down on Mars shouldn’t be too far a jump for anyone to take. I know for one thing that it wasn't for the CIA, because in 1984 as a part of their Project Stargate, the agency tasked a group of remote viewers to target Mars approximately 1 million years ago. Noticeably, they only commissioned this after DiPietro and Molenaar, the original engineers to take note and bring the Cydonia region to the public's attention, released their book Unusual Martian Surface Features. Despite this, when the remote viewers were describing to the CIA agent the things they saw, they conveyed great amounts of shock, awe, and amazement, to which the agent replied with dull affirmations such as "that is to be expected". Sort of makes you wonder what prior knowledge of the red planet that the agency had going into these. The results of the CIA's remote viewing sessions are interesting to say the least, and definitely require a red pill writeup just all to themselves.
I feel as though there can be some agreement on the fact that Mars is hiding a lot more than what NASA tells us. Be it the mysterious megaliths and ruins that dot its surface, the strangely tall beings that remote viewers say they saw underground there, or the seemingly unnatural nature of one of its moons, Mars holds many secrets under and above its red dunes. It has held mankind’s attention for millenia. I hope this Red Pill helped it to grab yours as well.
